Arion Lightning, Experimental, Lycoming 0 320, Aircraft project :

On this Arion Lightning for example, there is only one spar and attaching the spar top the fuselage is done at two points along the spar.

In such a configuration, how is drag loads handled? Not entirely clear but I'm guessing the spar might be something like a box spar which should be able to handle drag loads just fine.

What about mounting points for flaps and ailerons? Maybe there is some sort of "spar" behind the main spar which is only in the wing and doesn't mount to the wing.
