Schneewittchen SW-1 (Snowwhite), a new design by Dr. Andrés Chavarria-Krauser starts to come to life. His own designed special profile for his Flying-Wing concept hat already completed the first to building-steps: 1. Testflying a radio-controlled model 1:4 and 2. building some test-ribs and other parts in wood and Carbon.
At the moment, Andrés is surching for answers to some important questions like: "How is the pilot going to fit in the plane? Does it feel good to sit in there for hours? Do I like the sitting position? Am I going to have good acces to controls and instruments? How’s the view?"
In order to find those answers, he has build a Mockup (seating-box) size 1:1. A very interesting project, one can find a first report at UL-Segelflug.de - Schneewittchen erwacht langsam zum Leben

Best regards from Germany
