I just came across this statement in section 2.2 of the "Tailless Aircraft" book....
(yes, the spelling error was in the book)
"Usually consists of only one wing"?? That brings up the possibility of a tandem wing design (and of course biplanes, which has been done).
Since a flying wing usually consists of only one wing, this action is particularily justified for tailless airplanes.
