    My experiences with Scott Casler’s (Hummel) price list and the Great Plains “tailored suit with three pairs of trousers” product pages definitely mirror yours. If I wanted a bespoke engine for my KR or Osprey projects, I would be all over WW’s Fly Corvair with the SPA Panther thrust bearing.

    Learned to fly in 1978 @ Miami Univ. Airport as Flying Club member...not current

    Have decided that UL is the best way to return to flying. Intend to built with wood and/or carbon fiber tubing, if Aerdrome's Fokker 3/4 Eindekker (spelling) exceeds 254lb. Part 103 limit.
