    i'm planning on using the azusalite nylon wheel, the 6" are only 24.75 ea. , and weigh less then half that of aluminum. since i'm going aluminum instead of fabric, i'm skimping on weight everywhere i can. tom

    i'm going to look into building the a plane all aluminum. i've worked w metal for many years, have all the tools n hdwre, and i think it makes a better, longer lasting airframe then fabric. just sayin......tom

    yeah, i ring em out w ohmeter, then call em done. right now i just finished the 1960 era attitude indicator, its got about 200 wires, and i didnt even start compass yet.

    i'm going the exact same route for the same reason, im gonna start w a 2.6 redrive, and a 48in. prop. i guess i'll see where to go from there.

    no colours here mann, just numbers like...F465A20N. i even invented a great way to mark them cuz a laser wire marker was out of the ballpark!

    wow 2000 wires, i would quit! no my biggest cannonplug has 55 wires, but the biggest ouch is having to de pot them(which douglas did very well!) cleaning them up, repaint, and solder new wires in them, WOW!

    i just recieved my plans to build the affordaplane, they boast a 10 year safety record. i also plan to assemble kits and sell them as rolling chassis kits, ( everything but the engine, redrive, and prop. ) Is anyone familiar with this design? does anyone have one? i'd like to talk with someone...

    wow, what kind of werk did he do? what was his specialty? i thought the hydraulics were tough, but the electrical,(which i'm still doing), is the most hair pulling , profanity yelling, mission i ever tackled in my life!

    here she is....over 6 years of painstaking labor, and do you like the rotiserie i fabricated from the stand that came w the tail section?OK WE ROLLED THE A4 OUTSIDE THE HANGAR, AND BUSTED HER OFF!!! FIRST THERE WAS A PUFF OF BLUE SMOKE, AND THEN SHE SPOOLED RIGHT UP! WE GOT A COUPLE MINOR ISSUES...
