    Used 3/8 & 1/2 nomex core on my helicopters. Used Dotco cutting wheel and old fashioned razor blades to angle the edges and a regular ban saw on raw sheets, Without resin its floppy but doable , No big deal

    1st know the difference between a 369/500 that MD is doing and the 269/300 that changed hands multiple times with Schwitzer, Boeing, Lockheed Marten, Sikorsky ...     You're chasing yourself , Relax and do slow movements , patting or washing out the cockpit only wears out the bearings and your arms. It's a Hiller the controls have a slight delay from those servo flaps. But relax... It flies like a truck

    A few wrecks we'd pick up in the hills (middle of nowhere) after the meat wagon and cops left we'd see drag marks where the locals dragged the engine or what ever to their property... or we'd lift the wreck and find a big piece of Bar-B-Qed stick wiggler.
