It's sold but it hasn't been picked up yet, so technically, you could buy it from the new owner. He's having some difficulty getting it delivered to Canada.

Correct CHT probe for a Rotax 277?

Went with this instead, so I didn't have to cut the wires. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productselection.asp?Product=1083

Correct CHT probe for a Rotax 277?

<sarcasm>Wonderful! <\sarcasm> The picture looked like female connectors, but it wasn't clear. Plus the old one has the female connectors, so I assumed... Well, you know.

Correct CHT probe for a Rotax 277?

The probe has a 4' lead so an extension is not necessary. We'll know when it arrives in a couple of days. Thanks!

Correct CHT probe for a Rotax 277?

Yes, it does. And all the connections are male, so my new one needs female connectors. So I'm looking for a 14mm, Type J or K, CHT probe, with female connectors. Seems to be a rare breed. All I see are spade connectors or bare wires. I'd rather buy the correct probe than solder one together...

Correct CHT probe for a Rotax 277?

Which CHT probe is the correct one for a Rotax 277? From what I've read, the type "J" is the correct one for the applicable temperature range, but I cannot seem to locate a probe with the circular ring to go under the spark plug (although, I did find a type "K" with that end). Also, what size...

For Sale: Avid Mk IV project $3,000 w/o engine; $6,000 with engine.

I'm selling my Avid Mk IV project. The plane was flying with no accidents (N Number: 70823) before I bought it. It was in a ground-loop and one wing was stripped for repairs. The owner passed away and I purchased it from the widow about two years ago. It was kept in a mini-storage at the time...

Need help with throttle linkage/routing in a Fisher 303

I'm modifying the throttle in my FP 303 because the existing setup was too high and too close for me to reach comfortably (see the little white knob in my avatar). I'm going to add a block of wood for a mount near my left knee OR put a Vernier-type push/pull knob in the center of my...

helemt and prop for rotaxx 277 fisher 303

I have a Fisher 303 and I've been struggling with the throttle setup since there's not much room. Where did you place your throttle? Is it a lever or a push/pull knob? Do you have pictures? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

What HBA Members are Accomplishing - 2011 Archives

Re: January 2011 - Tell us what you've done this month! Finished reading "Stick And Rudder" and started reading "Flying A Taildragger". Moved rudder pedals (or was that last month?). Started the 277, now to go through the published 'Break in' procedures. Moved the throttle, but it's not gonna...

    Which Prop? (recommendations needed)

She's back on her gear! The engine hoist worked perfectly. Sorry no picture, it was late and I was very anxious through the whole process. Basically, I lifted it off the front stand, then rolled it over 90 degrees at a time, leaving the empennage on the back stand, then set the nose on the...

    Which Prop? (recommendations needed)

Help! My plane is sitting inverted on stands (see post #9). It took myself, my brother, my son and my son-in-law to turn the plane over and place it on the stands. Now I need to turn it back over by myself or with my son's help. The others were only here for the holidays... My question is, can...

Can I tow my FP 303 to the field on the main gear?

Oh, did I mention how I got this airplane? I traded my trailer for it! :)

Can I tow my FP 303 to the field on the main gear?

See post #3. I'll definitely be using a trailer (or better yet, a hangar).
