To what out-of-production aircraft would you buy the rights, if you wanted to start a 'kit-plane' company?

Having lost the use of our local airfield I no longer see the chap in question, so cant ask what his intentions were in connection with the Wing Derringer. But was surprised a Brit would consider it a viable project, as I recall he based himself at Mojave in the early/mid 80's. I, just by chance...

LMA Build in the UK, to SSDR spec.

It would be good to see the LMA in the air. It was the project that got me through the Covid Lockdown here in the UK , so deserves to be finished. Love to see as many photos as possible. U/C may be better with GRP/Alloy spring style ???. Wing Fold may be worth exploring too.

LMA Build in the UK, to SSDR spec.

Hi, Did you buy it off Airidas ???? Some of the LMA kits had alloy Spars, wish I had built some of them, looked at Cub spars, but shipping from Florida to the UK was difficult. Good luck with the project, photos would be nice. Alan.

LMA Build in the UK, to SSDR spec.

Yes, sold it to a chap in Lithuania, he's bought several a/c from the UK in the past, but the LMA was poorly designed, and really not worth spending any more time on it, looked at a clean sheet design, but life got in the way.
