    Stallion

Grabbed this as quickly as I could on Saturday, it was very well camouflaged on faceplant market place. He said no one wanted to check it out, very nice guy. Anyway either everyone knew what a runaway time suck it would be (and the jokes on me) or no one that inquired knew what it was or what to...

    Fun with oratex

Thought I'd post up a thread on a subject I've been, and will be spending substantial time with this and next year... To start off with my first run in with Lars' miracle fabric was on the control surfaces of an aircam. The pantjob was pretty wild, but with the help of a 2.5 amu mask I was able...

Lithiums in aviation use.... real world experiences

I'm just now stepping into the ancient early morning Oshkosh picnic table on this subject, sincerest apologies if it's been beaten to death, as I couldn't find the answers I'd been looking for thus far... Lithium batteries in aviation..... what are the pros and cons here? What safety concerns...

    Incident....ally

My f35 had some serious looking incidence. During trimmed cruise flight the view out the front was truly magnificent(nose low). Cruise speed was consistently above 150mph(airspeed dial was mph)with an e225. I read an old article in sport-a that where the builder mentioned his incidence caused...

    But..... why?

So the consistent answers I get to this question are basically "because that's the way it is" "It was decided long ago" "because those are the regs" or "public pressure". If those or any shade of them are your response please do not waste your time. In all of my searching, I have yet to find...

    New not blue gas...

Lead isn't good..... ok, ok I get it. The LL battle is lost, that's obvious too. Do I believe the environmental cost is worth losing "affordable" hi-po fuel? I don't.... but we really have crossed the Rubicon on this subject. I'm 52 this year. I was born in mariposa ca in the shadow of Yosemite...
