Steel or wood for fabric covered motorcycle full fairing.

Wood would be better as it will not be so easily bent or deformed from a bump or small impact, for sure. You could mould a fibreglass structure around it or use polyester fabric glued on then shrunk by a regular household iron.

    Carburation on overrun

Hi Kevin, I believe you are mistaken regarding the needle clip position. The needle can be raised or lowered using the clip, but this is in relation to the air slide and only affects fuel flow through the needle jet relative to the slide position. Moving the needle has no affect on airflow. I...

    Focke Wulf 190 80% Scale

Mr. Spinneti, You could do worse than build and RV-4 that looked like a FW-190. Actually, an RV-8 even better. The fact is, Terry Kronk based his FW-190 on the RV series, not just the construction method, but all the controls and control surfaces are based on the RV. The wing profile is...

    WW2-ize your photos!

You can actually do the same with your videos. I use Windows Movie Maker, and you have a few options as to how 'old' you want to make the footage, as well as adding grayscale and sepia tone . I have used it so,e of the FW-190 footage posted recently. Martin

Hi Tom, No website for Terry I'm afraid. He keeps a low profile and would rather his aircraft do the talking. Hence me posting here so that others can see what amazing things are possible. Look at the 80% scale FW-190 topic to see what I mean Cheers Martin
