    I am 100% in agreement with this. Since I have direct database access to all of the BigFoil data, I recently did a wing planform + airfoil trade study. I looked at perhaps 50 airfoils with wind tunnel data and 50 without, selected from the lowest-drag airfoils at my target lift coefficient...

    BigFoil has many sets of Wind tunnel data available for comparison to the JavaFoil and XFoil computations. Look for airfoils with "WT" next to the name. Then you can decide if the programs are a good enough match for you. Perhaps you can find airfoils similar in shape to the one you are...
