Are gyro planes safer than fixed wing planes?
The difference between a deadstick landing in a FW compaired to a gyro is........a FW needs more space.....when a FW looses an engine.....you must put the nose down to gain minimum controlable airspeed......a gyro lands the same with or without the engine running.....and is fully controlable at...- ultracruiser41

Are gyro planes safer than fixed wing planes?
Hey Guys, New to the forum....I usually lurk at Rotayforum.com. Saw this post about gyros and thought I'd give a little information. I have been flying since 1991 and fly both FW and Gyros and I can tell you from experience...gyros are much safer. There was a time when poor design stability...- ultracruiser41
