    Rotax from what I remember dont give any advice on the best way to manage your Rotax 2 stroke during descent. My trike is powered by a 503 fan cooled DCDI...normal cruise RPM is 5000rpm... When I am ready to descend into the pattern or circuit as we call in in the UK....I snap the throttle...

    Ethanol and older 2 stroke pre ethanol.

    I operate an older 2 stroke from well before the ethanol days...the only tuning info I have are from that period...carb and old points ignition. What consideration would I need to take into account to use this engine with modern gar and 5% ethanol. ie would the timing need a different setting...
