    yes a box section spar . not a falco spar but a celerity spar.

    my question was the gluing of 2 different species of wood. i'm aware of the properties of both species. the spar is a lay-up of 2-5 plies of 3/8" material with intercostals between the plies to come up with the chord thickness

    did you look at the mirage celerity 200 kts on 160 hp . i know that there are only 3 or 4 registered but it is a sweet aircraft with a decent usable payload

    just curious both these planes are similar but the take off and landing runs are at opposite ends of the spectrum ? is it the airfoils or just the way that the designers listed or tested the planes .
