    I just re-read your Original Post. For nothing but .035, I'd switch to 1/16" tungsten and 1/16th" filler rod. Try setting amps at about 60-65, but only use about 2/3 to 3/4 of full throttle. Not sure if you're using a foot pedal or rotary finger control? Once you get your puddle started...
