    Shrink Wrap Wings !

So more useful for covering, let say the fuselage of a legal eagle or something where it's typically open. Or just fuselage covering in general. Makes sense. Definitely would be cool to see how the white holds on a wing like structure in differing temps Actually may be interested in testing...

    Electric powered flight

Im sure it would work. 50kw is (according to google anyway) the equivalent of 67 mechanical horse power and most ultralights ive seen (im no expert nor own anything at the moment) is less than 60. so sure it may work. but id be leery of buying from that site, to me it looks a little sketchy. as...

    Electric powered flight

So this came up on my youtube.... Would a super capacitor bank such as this help extend some range on sunny days? http://laserhacker.com/?p=611 He never mentions weight. but something like that I would think could do really good for extending the longevity of battery power while flying.

    Electric powered flight

what about quiet, less maintenance, no smelly/messy fuel or oil to deal with, restartability in the air, instant toruqe, etc. also cool factor. cant forget cool factor! when your puttering around the airport, with a battery life of an hour + (which is what the lazair can do so far...

    Electric powered flight

I have also seen Belite has been developing a similar thing to the Cri Cri in electric https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eI_arV4mu_A and its pretty recent. No word as to what they are using either. That looks promising for a cri cri type. or doing a dual motor either pushing or pulling...
