    Chilton DW1 plans?

I just recently obtained permission from the original Chilton family and then Roy sent me the correct plans. Took a few weeks but was all very straightforward. The Walter Mikron would be the preferred engine from my standpoint and I did receive a quote for a new one but as a live in Canada...

    Miles Aircraft.

Does anyone know if any of the oriignal Miles plans still existing somehwere? Or are the only options now to recreate these from an original example as Bugsy is doing? I'm a big fan of the Chilton but these Miles designs still have the potential to find/use the originally intended engine...

Yeah, it's tough to match the Mikron.

That's the ones I had come across - Deutz.

I I think it was Deutz I'd come across before but missed the Mitsubishi one - will take a look - maybe it's not too heavy and simple inversion could be an option. The Deutz gensets looked pretty heavy duty.

Hi Rob, I'm a new member from Regina working on the EEA 154 build of Zenith 701. Your Piel CP605 Super Diamant looks like an interesting project. Have you been continuing work on it?

Definately will do. I'm sensing my starting point will be a wing with moveable surface first for a good climb configuration and then vary for a higher speed flying shape. Will look around for the right place in the forum to put out some stuff.

I agree. A development using VW aircooled pistons/cylinders is very interesting. I've spent a very small amount of time on this but seemed to arrive at a minimum cylinder spacing of 112 mm. Most 4 cyl engines are closer than that but I did come across a couple of crankshafts: The Porsche 944...

Hello, I've been signed up to the forum for a couple of years but have been largely inactive as was working on my private pilots license which I received just over a year ago. To gain experience and to meet local like minded people, I've recently joined my local EAA chapter 154 where we are...
