    FW 190 A-8 Project

    I have a question for you guys, last year in the reno air races a FW-190 equipped with a R-2800 could only put out 302.2 mph ! and that is with a 2000 hp engine. A stock FW-190 normally could do 398 mph on 1539 hp Does the 2800 weigh 800 pounds more than the bmw engine ? I dont understand why...

    I have some choke cylinders in for a check up (HIO 360-d1a p/n 74974), on the skirt of the cylinder this is written "Choke 4.72. cpi 05-73-6202" what does this mean ?

    Sandwhich skin; build it inside out?

    Some GP-4 builders have made their wings "wet" They basicly took the wood structure and just coated it with epoxy with four layers of 8 oz cloth. It is alot more work than the standard fiber glass tank, and if you have a leak that really sucks
