I recommend that anyone building an aircraft should buy the most modern plans with all the improvements.

What do you think is a typical configuration of an 'Air Race E' plane?

Designing cool looking airplanes to run in a computer is different than having to perform the tests and precision of starting a race with 8 airplanes on a 150 foot wide runway with a 15kt crosswind. Control on the ground and at low speeds is important and the tailless design of IONTREPID is...

Cassutt - looking for anyone who knows anything about it

Thanks Ed. Thailand was a blast. 2full silver and Gold groups. 17 Airplanes went over. Last Lap Player was going great. GPS tracker had us doing 212 most of the time. Not Bad for a 17 foot sport wing with tips making it 19 foot span.

    Changing airfoils

If you want slower. Just build the Stock 17 foot sport wing. And follow the modern plans leading edge it is very blunt compared to back in the day.

Cassutt - looking for anyone who knows anything about it

Cassutts are Awesome. I love them. I own 2projects and one that flys. I'm sticking to my 13K to build a Carbon Wing. The guy that said it could be done for 2 or 3 grand is looking at Glass prices from 1982. To build a 300 MPH 12 G wing from Carbon is not cheap. Add this up. 66 square feet of...

Cassutt - looking for anyone who knows anything about it

Cassutt - looking for anyone who knows anything about it
