    cleaning aluminum

    I have an old ultralight to restore that was stored many years. The aluminum tubes and parts are nasty dirty, and I wonder if there is a good cleaner for aluminum that will not etch it or corrode between parts?

    Phase 3 Eclipse

    Anyone have information on the 1980's era Eclipse built by Phase 3 ? Was there ever a plan available, or do you know of one moldering in storage somewhere? According to Wikipedia there were not many made because of an over-filled market at the time.

    amphibian ultralight

    If interested in building an amphibian ultralight check out the Invader stuff I have in the for sale/trade thread. It would be easy to make amphibian, and can be fished right out of the pod because it is open and mid-wing. That was my original intent when I bought it.
