    well check calibrate them first before fitting more info is a good idea ,i have been informed that if u need to extend the sensor wires use special thermocouple wire ,, i am using 4 sensors going through a 4 positiion switch into one guage ,,no copper wires i am told

    great plains hapi secoundary ign

    i am renovating a kr2 with secoundary ign little round box where distributor went how can i test triggers ,,i connect a little light plus 12v and trigger wire and it glows and goes off as timing is reached is this a good test . coils how can test these they are 3 ohm coils...

    i am thinking of buying a 2180 great plains in a sonex however i want to know every trick to dissapating this extra heat from 2180 power as heads were for 1600 ,i have looked at hvx modds and the baffle between the fins modd. plenum design will play a major role i am sure .

    just a thought although with a proper filter oil change is extended to 50 hrs ...wonder if this equates to about 3000 miles on the road seems very conservative ..but more to the point i bet that filter has protected that that engine... i realy think taking out debris as quickly as u can is...

    like the idea of a preoiler can u share pics diagram ...and do u think there is merit is spinning engine over a bit10-15 or more pulls by hand to prime engine oil wise ... cold starts are the killer apparently much more wear than cruising at full throttle
