Thank you for applying your view to other people's situations. People like yourself are the reason it was scrapped.

Rotax 532 with 80 hours, gauges, wings, landing gear

Hi everyone. I finally got to dismantling the plane yesterday. I have the Rotax 532, which is complete with radiator, gear drive, Warp Drive prop, and full instrument panel. Also have wings and wing tanks, and two gear rims and tires as well as taildragger tire set-up. Need to get rid of this...

Rotax 532 with 80 hours, gauges, wings, landing gear

Hi all. The plane is home and in the garage, tearing it down starting tomorrow. Any interest in anything, let me know. Best offer on whatever you could use. Want it out of the way. :ban:

Rotax 532 with 80 hours, gauges, wings, landing gear

It was original a taildragger...still have the tailwheel set-up. I was going to convert it back. It is a one-off 3/4 scale Stinson L5 replica, so I don't know what the wings could be adapted to be used for.

Rotax 532 with 80 hours, gauges, wings, landing gear

It cannot be registered so is being parted. Will not sell the fuselage out of liability.

Hello. I have for sale, local pickup here in Michigan only, no shipping: An electric start Rotax 532 with gearbox (haven't looked to see which one), with everything needed to run it, warp drive prop (tractor config, not pusher). No carbon, no blow-by. Full set of gauges with tiny tach., etc...

    Yet another registration question.

Thank you all again for the advice. After communicating again with the FAA I've made the determination I am done with this plane. The driveline is listed on here and rest is being scrapped. Thank you all again. Great resources available on here.

Complete Rotax 532 with gear drive, Warp Drive prop

Unsure of which drive is on it. Supposedly runs very well, 80 hours SMOH. I have the log book showing hours. Plane is being scrapped and is not for sale, driveline only is. Located in Michigan.

    Yet another registration question.

I'm not certain what holes need filled, but as you said: builder deregistered his planes before he passed, I bought it from the estate and want it registered in my name. N-number N8271F has been assigned but registration has not been.

    Yet another registration question.

Thanks again guys. I will give them a call tomorrow and see who I can get on the other end.

    Yet another registration question.

Well, it's worth a try at least. Would I call the local FAA (Grand Rapids, MI) or the OK office?

    Yet another registration question.

Thanks for the replies. The initial paperwork provided to the FAA showed the executor was able to sell the airplane as representative of the estate. They accepted it at the time but now will not. The executor is in another state, builder (wish I had met him, sounds like he was a neat guy and a...

    Yet another registration question.

It is regarding that plane. If approaching the family through a lawyer is the only way to go about it, I guess this will be parted out.

    Yet another registration question.

True, sorry for omitting that. The FAA wants the estate to provide a notarized form stating they were able to legally sell the plane. The court documents showing the executor sold it was initially okay, apparently, but they will not release the registration without this new document. I am...

    Yet another registration question.

Hi all. Thank you for making this a wonderful source of info. I bought an experimental a couple years ago that was deregistered. I was able to contact the estate, and they agreed to send in paperwork stating I bought it from them. I got a new data plate made, have airworthiness cert, and sent...

    Fiberglass finishing

Hi all. I have a couple wing root covers that came with my plane. One is ready for paint, but the other was taken right out of the mold. Some edges need more hardener, as does the whole part overall. I have never worked with fiberglass. What do I use to build it up so it's stronger and more...

    Ebay Today

Not really. I ended up buying an Aeronca champ so need some extra hanger space. I don't want to sell the Loehle project, but, again, space is a premium.
