Could a well seasoned homebuilder build himself a vehicle that run on the streets ?

I have instructed at many high performance driving events over the years and the most exciting are always the ones with 6,000 lb vehicles that can accelerate immensely but usually can only stop once, maybe two times quickly before the brakes fade from heat. With that note, I am looking...

Could a well seasoned homebuilder build himself a vehicle that run on the streets ?

I built a V8 powered Lotus 7 replica from plans many years ago and enjoyed driving it immensely. (mine is the big yellow one on the left). My son and I built a Factory Five 818R a few years ago (the red car passing the black corvette on the banking at Daytona) and enjoyed the father-son build...

    Jet list?

I was looking for a turbo prop equal to ~150-200 hp to put on an experimental aircraft.

    Jet list?

Anyone know where there a list of small jets and/or turboprops that can easily be adapted to small experimental aircraft?

    Pre-buy on sub $30k aircraft?

My only addition to this awesome discussion is: Never buy an airplane with a "fresh annual owned by an A&P" - I learned the hard way the many shortcuts an unscrupulous mechanic can take and still pass an inspection. Plane flew fine, just needed a LOT of attention to details...

    Anyone assemble a Propeller list?

I have a Sensenich 74DM53 aluminum and was thinking about getting one that is ground adjustable to switch between short takeoffs and cruising.

    Anyone assemble a Propeller list?

I am considering replacing the propeller on my Hatz Biplane and wondered what options were out there. Has anyone (Kitplanes, HomebuiltAirplanes.com, etc et al.) composed a comprehensive list of propeller manufacturers (Sensenich, DUC, Sterna, Hartzell, Warp Drive, etc.) and the engines they...

I contacted him about that Cozy - it was on Barnstormers too - he showed me pics of the wing damage and says it's fixed but doesn't fly it anymore. Makes me wonder if he isn't confident of the repairs...

    Photos aloft

Took a friend flying yesterday who had never flown in a biplane. The view of Badin Lake NC, the trees haven't started to turn much yet: The view the pilot (me) has for most of the flight: 🤣

    Best Ingres and egress ?

LOL! My wife questions some of my shoe choices over the years and my reply is "What?!?! That's all they had in size 14!" 🤣

    Best Ingres and egress ?

Due to Arnold Schwarzenegger being my role model in my younger years I have always been oversize for my height (5'10"). I am currently 260 lbs and can get in/out of my Hatz*, my Cessna 172, a Cardinal and a Zenith 701/750 easily. Navions and an older V Tail Bonanza are comfortable if you...

    Is this a Viking?

I was looking at this salvage aircraft with a Honda engine that was damaged by "engine failure" and wondered if it was a Viking?

What to drive to the airport.

Just took delivery of this, it will flat beat the pants off of my old Z06 Corvette at a stoplight...(any corvette at a stop light) and it costs me pennies to drive to/from the airport.
