    Non-Certified Dacron

Thanks for all the info, I ordered the 2.97 Dacron and I was suprized at the quality, it really looks good. No blemishes that I can see. Weave is a little more coarse then the Ceconite 102, but it is strong stuff, I'm very pleased. I am beginning to notice the results of what RockieDog mentioned...

Which type of fabric should I use?

Hey Aircraftbuilder, I hope this is not changing the topic, but I've got my Dub Eagle wings ready to cover also, are you going to glue the fabric to the 1/4 ribs, or have you something else in mind? I went and glued 1mmx3/4 cap strips on top of my ribs to increase the glue area, so the surface...

    Non-conventional Brake Ideas

    Double Eagle Wing Weight Question

Thanks for all the input, really is helping. Gives me a lot to chew on. Taking the "calibrated elbow" approach, I installed a set of Aeronca Champ 7BC wings a few months back and I think I stripped and elbow, they were a lot heavier then I expected them to be. Mine aren't as heavy in comparison...
