    Some modern manufacturers of two strokes recommend 50:1 of their own brand of oil and 25 :1 of anything else. That says to me that they are just being careful about warranty claims. Any good modern oil should be better than was available when that bike was built.

    Learning to fly a Trail wheel airplane using a simulator

    I cannot use the flight sim to fly my model of corby starlet. I just cannot take off without going all over the place. The real thing is easy I have about 900 landings on it and no problems, so I don't think a flight simulator is any use for learning to fly a taildragger.

    I am no expert of aircraft brakes but from auto experience I would rxpect that there is a relief port to allow pressure reduction when no braking is required. Check for a port in the cylinder, just about level with the face of the cup in its retracted location. It may be blocked.

    I thought that the reason for dimples was to reduce drag on a golf ball. There was no way of knowing in which direction the ball would be travelling, so therefore no leading or trailing face. With an aircraft we know which is leading and can therefore design a better flow, not just a compromise.
