    Ridge Runner 1?

Well, things just got more complicated. I have received hostile texts telling me to come get my plane (and calling me names like "Jew with a job". That alone should be a clue to others about how poor Rocky Mountain Wings customer service is, even calling customers derogatory, anti-semitic...

Yes, you're right. Bill Dohm did build that plane and he did a wonderful job, a show quality build in my opinion.

I used Blenderm surgical tape for gap sealing the tailfeathers. Has held up very well. I considered (even bought) some 26" Airstreaks, but sold them and went with the 20" Nancos instead since they were much cheaper and especially, MUCH lighter. Spring gear seems like a great idea.

    Ridge Runner 1?

I think part of the reason mine flies the way it is is because CG is so well balanced for my weight (150 lbs) and the 503 doesn't weigh very much. Those videos were taken in 85-90F degree weather with little to no wind and after doing probably over a hundred short take-offs and short landings...

    Ridge Runner 1?

Hi PDknight. Yes we talked over on BCpilots forum. Those pix you have I think are very old and may not have actually been my plane. When I visited his shop, he had a pair of wings from some old project, and a fuselage from some other old project and said that was my plane. No work had been done...

    Ridge Runner 1?

I've got a RR3 being built (or so I believe) at his shop, completely paid for. I have not received any pix and the project is 4 years old. I live in a foreign country so it's difficult to really know what's going on. If anyone happens to stop by RmW shop, can you take some pix? It would be have...
