    Iron head/iron block Chevy engines are in the 550 to 570 pound area without accessories. That's why almost all uses of this engine design use aluminum for the block and heads. You shed about 200 pounds with the light metal.

    Hmmm, and on the falconaravia web site there is mention, just, of rib stitching in a couple of places. That needs to be made clear it seems to me.

    This is an Acro Sport I. The mystery fuselage's turtledeck curvature isn't the same in my opinion.
