Swift - 2 seater from Innovator Technologies (Mosquito)

The Swift is now in Canada. John Uptigrove is working on it and it's flying. Composite FX made a short report some time ago, great handling and power but it was a little heavy. This project has taken a long time, but it has always made progress. That's one of the reasons I believe in it :)...

ICON given green light to begin deliveries

Will the Icon A5 be available in kit form (experimental) or will it only be sold as a complete ready to fly LSA?

Swift - 2 seater from Innovator Technologies (Mosquito)

Thank you, very nice pictures! It would've been cool if it had been flying. But it's good to see the progress. And I must say that the more I see of the Swift, the more I want to buy a kit :). The "belt drive system" looks robust. And noticed that the rotor head seems to be a beefed up...

It would be nice if you would like to take some pictures or a video of the Swift.

Swift - 2 seater from Innovator Technologies (Mosquito)

It's a wise statement for sure. But, if one could rank the developers, I think Innovator Technologies and Composite FX would be on the safer side of the scale. They have delivered the one seater for a long time now (at least long in the kit producing world). They made an update on the web page...

Is anyone familiar with the LS7 V-8 powered Hummingbird 300LS?

Wow, the kit just got more expensive! Kit + engine package was 152' + 55' = around USD 207 000. Now the engine is more expensive and you have to buy the wheels as an option. 152' + 78' + 19' = around USD 250 000.

Is anyone familiar with the LS7 V-8 powered Hummingbird 300LS?

I'm in no way an expert... but if you look real hard, It almost looks more like a fixed wing then a Hummingbird 300 LS.

Swift - 2 seater from Innovator Technologies (Mosquito)

rv6ejguy, As you have been sharing valuable information, have you heard anything about the flight testing? Or anything at all... Been following the development with great interest in almost two years; since they officially launched the Swift with pictures, videos and information on Composite...

The pictures from Oshkosh were really nice, but It's been awfully quite since then. Has anyone stumble a pone any new info about this beauty?

Is anyone familiar with the LS7 V-8 powered Hummingbird 300LS?

It's really nice to see development of the Hummingbird. Would you like to give us some more information about the new 300 h.p. six cylinder aircraft powerplant? Price, fuel consumption, fuel requirement (does it run on 87 octane automobile fuel like the LS7?), maintenance / TBO? How does the...

Swift - 2 seater from Innovator Technologies (Mosquito)

Thanks for the pictures! On BBersons picture, I think it's a main rotor gearbox right above the engine. From what I've read, finding a suitable engine and engineering a main rotor gear box is among the most difficult tasks in the development of small kit helicopters. Wonder that the price would be.

If anyone sees something written about the Swift at Oshkosh, please post in the thread. Oshkosh may be a good time to get some more information on the project. And of course some good pictures :).

Swift - 2 seater from Innovator Technologies (Mosquito)

I would have to say that the Swifts design looks much better to me, imho. I like the side by side configuration of the cabin. I know that Cicare have one like that in the pipeline (Cincare CH-8) but i expect it to be to expensive for me.

Swift - 2 seater from Innovator Technologies (Mosquito)

Thank you for the update! Do you know if the assembled version for Oshkosh would be a potential flying aircraft or is it assembled for display only? I guess I would love to know if they can fly it right after Oshkosh... my interest for Swift keeps growing :).

Is anyone familiar with the LS7 V-8 powered Hummingbird 300LS?

Have been searching the web looking for owners of Hummingbirds. But it's dead quite... not even in a forum thread. Anywhere. Would be really cool to hear first hand experiences building, flying and owning the Hummingbird.

There was a update on composite-fx.com. Now they state that the flight testing will begin by the summer 2014. Not much other news...

Very interesting to read your replays. Seems to be different bids. I would be really happy if it could make it on under 10 gph.
