    Zenith Carb In-Flight Adjustable Mixture?

I use the mixture control to shut my engine down on my Zenith carb. I also use it to run LOP while on the ground. Doing this my plugs always look just like they do when you take them out of the box.

You can purchase that bubble canopy. It cost $1000.00 bucks. Mine has a couple cracks in it. I dug up the plans, found this canopy and called the company. They said yes they can supply me with this bubble canopy for around one grand. Those cracks are not that bad. I can live with them.

No I have this wrong. On the left it is right foot, then left foot, then right foot in. Opposite on the other side. You start with left foot, then the right foot, on the step, then the left foot in. If you don't use this order your legs are all crossed when you try to get in or out.

Post Conversion - Crank Rotation Tight

My case had to be replaced because the cam was bored and there was not over size bearings in the size it was bored. I had all sorts of problems setting valve lash because of this. The cam was moving and caused erratic readings when checking valve lash. Oil pressure was also low.

After 10 years and over 300 hrs no problems flying this airplane and not using carb heat. In my other airplane carb heat is applied before I reduce the throttle.

My 1/2 vw was setup this way also. Drawing air from the lower part of the cowl. It also did not require any carb heat.
