    Part 23 Airworthiness Standards E-Book

I'm in the process of buying an American Eaglet, the 1930 design, not the new glass airplane design. The last airworthiness certificate was in 1995, but the document was lost in a divorce. How can I get an airworthiness certificate? I don't see it addressed in the AIM or FAR Regs.

    American Eaglet

Since there are only 13 flying in the USA it's hard to get a price. The nature of commerce is a willing buyer and a willing seller. We shoveled out the apron of the hangar, rolled the airplane out and started it up this afternoon. It has been a month since it ran. The best A&P mechanic in the...

LOL; No, but the Doc was impressed with my vitals. He said I had the vital of a high school athlete and how do I do that? I told if he followed me around for a week he would know.

    American Eaglet

I passed my flight physical yesterday. Now to get the pre-purchase check done by my A&P. I ordered a "bomber cap" to keep my ears from freezing. American Eagle Eaglet 31 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Eaglet

Thanks Dana. I took another look at the aircraft this afternoon. The owner let me take the logs home. I have engine logs from the time it took its first test flight from Williamsport in a PIper Cub on May 1, 1946. That was 30 minutes. It flew 1:20 that afternoon and the 4:50 on May 2 which was...

    Eaglet

I'm broswing in search of Lycoming O-145 and Eaglet info. I see a poster, Rconc , from back in August and note that he has one post. The Eaglet I'm considering is a home built. I need to read the regs and find out the current rules for home builts, LSAs and antique aircraft. I have never owned...

    Most Beautiful Aircraft Ever Built

I took a photo of a Staggerwing Beech on floats on Lake Winnepesaukee in NH about 1964. Never saw another set of floats like them. They may have been custom made or taken from the air racers of the 1930s. That Staggerwing was also bright red.

    Moving 1929 American Eaglet

I have found a 1967 Eaglet that looks just like the 1929 photos above except that this one has a 65 horse Lycoming with zero hours SMOH on the engine. Aluminum prop, steerable tail wheel, main wheel brakes and pretty good instruments. The leading edges of the wings have aluminum cuffs under the...
