What parts are no longer available for the Longeze?

Hello everyone. I believe I have found a good set of plans to start building from. This will be my first build of any aircraft. I am hoping to build the Longeze after looking at them this year at Oshkosh. I didn't really get to talk to any of the owners of the aircraft. Can anyone here tell me...

    Long Ez Plans

If you got em, give em up! I really want to start my first build. I can't seem to find them anywhere. Every link I find is 8 years old or more (go fig). I don't want a half finished kit as I am not comfortable with other people's mechanical abilities. Yeah I'm picky. If you have been staring at...

First attempt to build which airplane?

I just don't care for wood/fabric. I have never seen anything that has impressed me like sheetmetal or composite has. Whittman Tailwind 10 is close, but that's about it. The goal is a 190 mph plane, just not sure what it will be yet.

13B turbo in a Cozy IV

Loved my 88 Mazda RX7. The smoothest running engine I have ever felt. Would love to see one in a Cozy!:ban:

First attempt to build which airplane?

Only problem in Ohio is no one is flying much. Even the homebuilt guys. It is slow. I wish I knew what the world of aviation was like when it was busy in these areas. I could only imagine. Its rare for me to pump 70 gallons or more of Avgas/100LL at my home airport for one plane. Wish I could...

First attempt to build which airplane?

Just curious, but if your composite skills are strong, why would you not immediately go that route? If you compare the two having experience with both now, which in your opinion is the easiest/best? Pros vs. cons.

First attempt to build which airplane?

Why can't I find more people like this in my area? I gotta get out more. Thanks for all the great ideas everyone!

First attempt to build which airplane?

I have seen quite a few pics of Sonex Aircraft being built in the apartment, but those are small and mostly made of pull rivets. I did not think of the dust or the divorce (hilarious!). I could only imagine a fan in the window and coating the neighbors cars with white powder, lol. I have...

First attempt to build which airplane?

Hi, I'm new here. I am a low time private pilot. I have around 145 hours. I witnessed a homebuilt gyro copter at my airport make a couple of test flights and I'm hooked. The thought of building my own aircraft is taking over my thoughts constantly! Its driving my wife crazy too!, lol. I don't...
