    Vampyr Flying Wing

Is that a Vampyr or a Pelican? It has “Pélican” written on the side. Or maybe I’m confused - no coffee yet.

The Janowski Project - Rethinking the J1B/J2/J3

If someone was interested in building one of these aircraft, is there someone to pay for a serial number to be able to build? Are they "orphaned" and can be built by anyone? How does it work? I'm totally ignorant in this area. Ironnerd, did the blueprint instructor get the answer?

    Moni Motorglider

I’ve been reading through this thread again (and again and again…..), and a some questions were generated. 1) Could the Moni spars be used with a solid foam core and the aluminum skins bonded on as lr27 said in post #69 instead of a lot of riveting? That would make a smoother finish? 2) If...

The Janowski Project - Rethinking the J1B/J2/J3

Please help me understand, are these considered Pt 103 compliant? If not, what are they, Lt Sport, E-AB? Also, can an individual build a Lt Sport airplane or only a manufacturer/ commercial entity? Thanks!

    Looking for Clarity

Hi all, The following book is in the Technical References forum and has 3 smiley faces. In it, there’s a graph that I can’t find anywhere. I’ve gone through ANC-18 and -19 and can’t find it. Any ideas? Another question. He uses a table from Bruhn to determine his wings moment and...

    Bf 109 Blueprints/Drawings Needed

You could try a set of quality 1/5 or 1/4 scale model drawings and scale up from there. Dave Platt has an excellent set. You could also message Don (willow50?). He’s on HBA and is building Jurca 3/4 scale Bf-109.

Can a full size airplane use a spar constructed like a model, I.e. using spar caps across the top and bottom of the wing ribs and then...
