You aren't kidding. I saw Texas and thought it might be close until I mapped it.

Airplane For Sale Flying Flea HM-160 Aluminum Project Pou du Cielistes LOOK at this!

If you're on Facebook, there was a person named Christie McCormick(?) that built a Flea a few years back and flew it. I believe it was their second one.

    Build time

My vote would be the T2 for a quick build. I have the plans and they are dirt simple. Another option would be a mini coupe as they are very similar.

I bought mine second hand so you may want to post in the classified section. Have you tried contacting Ron via phone or email from the website?

    Epoxy shelf life

But do they really sell it? I've been waiting for a month and a half with no ETA for my Aeropoxy order.

Yet another "Trying to decide" thread...

It's been discussed on HBA for 14 years with no resolution. Here is one example: wing spar angle

Yet another "Trying to decide" thread...

The spar cap material ruins the cost effectiveness of the Davis. The plans are not available for purchase new anymore.

Cabin Eagle could be a good choice.

Crashes in the News - Thread

Was the mechanical issue due to the engine or something else? I hope that the Yamahas can develop a reputation for reliability as they are impressive performers.

Maybe a small step for ADHD sufferers

No, to get your medical you have to prove that you don't need the medication. Taking the medication would be cause for a revocation of my medical certificate. LSA can be flown without a medical as long as you haven't had a medical revoked.

    New wing

    1. Doesn't the legal eagle use 1/4" plywood for the nose ribs and 1/32" plywood for the leading edge? 2. I believe that the plans show butt joints for the leading edge plywood but scarfing the joint is a strong solution as long as it is done with the proper angle (1:15 iirc) Edit: I see that...

Maybe a small step for ADHD sufferers

I read the article. I was hopeful for a few moments that my "golden" FAA letter would no longer be required. That letter cost me close to $3k in psych testing. I guess I will retain it for the foreseeable future.

Airplane Wanted Advice re Velocity Project Purchase

I've seen people fly their 172 to the Bahamas. I doubt that any non-amphibian will float for an appreciable amount of time which is why you are required to carry life preservers and a raft. Over the ocean and not within gliding distance, I would be looking for a twin or a turbine. Neither of...
