Barnaby Wainfan's OSH 2023 "Low Aspect Ratio" forum video

Thanks for sharing. I remember stumbling through the EAA hangar in Compton some 20 years ago and running into your facetmobile. Fascinating and intriguing, I also remember reading about it from articles in sport aviation. And subsequently last fall after having had breakfast in independence...

What if? - PBY Camper Plane

It's a Cohen Spaceship 2. Apparently it was designed to fit the Australian microlight/LSA rules. I have since read somewhere that the rotax 912 it was originally powered with, left it a bit underpowered. Anyway here is another video of it's build/development.

    Interesting Twin

According to FAR 61.31.L.2.iii.B. So long as you operate solo and hold an unrestricted private pilot certificate or higher. You can operate any category or class experimental amateur built aircraft. ( Assuming of course that the aircrafts operating limitations don't state otherwise. )

    Which homebuilt design is this?

It's definitely a Murphy aircraft judging from the instrument panel. Clearly the seller doesn't have a clue on what he is selling.

Another affordable avionic - iLevil AP

This system looks to use the same guts as the "autopilot hsi ap2000" https://aircraftautomation.com/product/autopilot-hsi-ap2000-complete-turnkey-kit-roll-and-trim/ Do we know if the ilevil autopilot system requires a separate ilevil AW module? Or is the airdate included in the ilevil AP LRU?

    Mike Patey - Scrappy's Wing

It's what Boeing and Airbus have been doing for years. But agreed, in a much smaller package in the honebuilt airplane realm.

    Chinese v-twin diesel.

Interesting. Is it oversimplified to assume that a direct drive chunky wood prop would be able to overcome some of the potential TV problems?

What do you think about "e-soaring"?

Are they planning on offering it as a kit? Also what's is the approximate price?

    Chinese v-twin diesel.

Whilst doing the rounds on Alibaba, as you do. I came across the hercules dv210 diesel v-twin. It's weight for what it's worth is quoted at 85kg. And having had a quick chat with the merchant, apparently they are working on a 60 kilowatt version of the engine. All in all I believe that this...
