    Nomad for Sale

I want to sell my Nomad Airchair in mint condition. With Solo Engine and an extra KFM 2 cil. 2 stroke engine with el. starter. Lokated in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I would also be happy with advice about the best way to sell this uncommon bird in Europe... Some links...

    Something for the blimpophiles

The proposed large version still on the drawing board will be 400 Feet he said. Still a lot smaller than the zeppelins from the 20's...... The BBC is a liar!!!! :-)

    MZP- Modern Zeppelin Project

It is not necessary to build a frame in this size airship. The pressure and shape of the envelope make it strong enough to hang a gondola with engines underneath. Building a frame inside for this size of airship would make it heavier. The most important thing for your airship is to find a fabric...

    Human powered biplane project"PEDALUSION"

Nope it was at the time a high quality bike with the best belt possible. I design and build bikes, and solve drivetrain problems on new designed bikes, and velomobiles which are quite popular in the flat Netherlands. What I was saying is that a chain might be heavier, but it is the most...

    Human powered biplane project"PEDALUSION"

It looks all very nice! I do have my thoughts about using a belt in stead of a chain. Chains are the most efficient! I once rode a bike with a high efficient toothed belt, but it sucks! You can feel it immediately. It is like pedaling in the mud. Just thinking... Sacha

    Simply supported propeller blades

Nice find! Did not know this existed. So there are advantages for marine use. Weight is not an issue there :-( Sacha

    Simply supported propeller blades

Hi Dan, This is a nice idea! And off course raises some problems to be solved, but in my opinion your line of thinking is clear. One of the problems is how to gear the outside ring of the propeller for propulsion. Mechanically this will be a problem since the mechanical components needed will...

    LiPo for aircraft engine starting

Just adding one thing to this: It might be good to fill up a few things. These control circuits are most often called BMS (battery management system) or CMS (charging management system) and their use is mostly in charging the cells of a battery pack. They discharge battery cell only while...

    Chain Drive PRSU

Ok, Here comes my naive question, and probably someone asked it before: You are discussing about damping and frequencies that can interfere to distruction, but what if the PRSU has no damping and no stretch in any way? As if the propeller was coupled to the crank directly, belts or chains come...

    Chain Drive PRSU

The Hy-Vo chains like in transfer cases are very tough, but they need constant lubrication. I know it's been done, but I don't see why to bother. If you're going to have a sealed unit with gears and lube why add a chain? Because chains have the least friction losses! Sacha

2 (long) stroke no reduction gear.

Hi everyone, I found out this subject still puzzles others, What is new to me is controlled fuel injection which makes it possible to run a 2 stroke as clean as a 4 stroke. I still think it would be possible and even economic in respect of durability, to make a 2 stroke optimised for low rpm's...

New style or size for ultralights

In the past ultralights were powered by the engines you describe. Those real ultralights were underpowered. For safety reasons you just need the right amount of power, and in most cases the paramotor engines just don't have enough power. Sacha
