@Spoeki : Yes , about 10ago Mr Colomban sold drawings for MZ34 mods. He also designed the 3B - props (Arplast), to slow down the plane a bit ... Some tried the JPX props : very noisy , max speed = jpx engines, but climbs like a rocket. I guess Mr Colomban, still have the plans for the MZ mods...

. I would definitely consider Zanzoterra MZ34 engines. Have flown my MC about 300 hrs without any seizure. Had jpx first , then MZ... wow 20hp and reliability (arplast sells the 3 blades props). @Mr Fonzi - about Bd5 engines, yeah not cheap but already many mods to make it fly safe - TRS or...

No - fixed pitch props. Don't know about the pitch (guess high). Anyway the hub is different , can't see much of the blade's shape on the pic.

    CriCri MC-15 in NZ

Not much difference with jpx engines about top speed. 240 kph (220) - The high pitch props do slow down the engines. In flight max Rpms 5300 (6200)- guess a bit more than 22hp. Mr Colomban approved this mod. but also warned about the power. Very smooooth engines, much much more torque, less...
