    Garmin GEA 71 / RS-485

I am trying to build a cellular based engine data upload box based on a raspberry pico. The engine data comes from a GEA 71, which has an RS-485 output on it. Also would like to be able to use the GEA 24. I believe I can just tap off of this with something like the below. Curious if anyone has...

    Erosion tape

I’m trying to find some erosion tape for an in-wing landing light plastic cover. It’s about 5 inches wide. Anyone know of a cheaper option than this stuff? They sell it in 4 inch strips but then there would be a seam. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/cspages/3m_8671polpro.php?clickkey=70456

This guy suggests running 50/50 mix but his photos from 100% LL are pretty scary...

    Air conditioning electrical power question

I am looking at building either a CH650 or 750 Cruzer. At KAPA here in centennial (Denver) it’s not unheard of to bake in line for takeoff for 30 minutes in 100 degree afternoon heat. I would like to put a zero breeze air conditioner in the baggage area, which requires 10 amps at 24V. I have not...
