    Pushers...way to go ?

The FAA certified and USA sold Russian BE 103 amphib https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beriev_Be-103 Was an interesting design, but not a pusher! A lighter CF copy of it made elsewhere would be a great amphib. I flew in one years ago at SnF.

    New Zealand

Thanks for all the tips, guys. We signed up for this NZ adventure at Oshkosh in 2023. They have a website, it is www.flying.co.nz. I believe it’s that sheep ranch with an airstrip mentioned earlier in this thread.

    Engine cooling, my solution

Gami has air flow cooling mods for cyl #1 & #3 consisting of scoops and openings. One in front of #2 is an opening at the cylinder about an inch wide leading to the enclosed ramp shroud underneath the cylinder. #3 requires installing a closed ramp around the back of that cylinder. They are...

To what out-of-production aircraft would you buy the rights, if you wanted to start a 'kit-plane' company?

Nice. I almost bought a Stallion kit back when. Bought a C177rg Cardinal that I love. Got my AP/IA in the process. Is this MX company for real?? They got a website?

To what out-of-production aircraft would you buy the rights, if you wanted to start a 'kit-plane' company?

A composite Cessna 177 RG update would be a nice plane. Martin Hollman almost did it with the Stallion kit but it was too involved.
