    After 20 years moving with the Air Force, I retired the second time, moved back to the panhandle of Florida (18FD) and love it. Nice grass strip with good neighbors. About half live here full time. I told my wife we are not moving again. I think she is OK with that.

    Engine angle

    Our KIS4 with a Mazda rotary was installed 0 degrees instead of the recommended 2 degrees and it flew fine but always required right rudder or trim to center the ball.

    Before turbofans, during the Vietnam era, if a fully loaded buff lost water injection on one engine during takeoff, it was an automatic abort.

    The engine assembly is being removed. I would like to sell the complete unit to someone but parting out might be an option. The prop is a custom Catto, composite, 2 blade, 76 inch diameter, 76" pitch, 3000 max RPM. FWF $8000.

    We discussed it and even considered a turbo version but with the KIS cowling, we are afraid we would be cooling limited. We recently added fans on the radiators for climb out. Temperatures in Florida are much warmer than Bill experienced up north.
