    Unfortunately no they won't citing liability reasons and the risk of damaging their equipment. I get it though. Still waiting on calls back from aluminum fab shops.

    I have talked to a couple HVAC shops near me but when I start mentioning bend radius and setback, I get nothing but a deer in the headlights look. I have found a couple fab shops that only deal with aluminum near by. Just waiting for a call back to see if they can do it.

    That is my problem, there is nowhere short of a couple hour drive to get somewhere that would have e the equipment to do it properly and then I have the problem of transporting the formed parts back home. 12 foot long parts don't exactly fit in the trunk of a mustang.

    Actually yes people are paying these insane prices. I know of a high time arrow 180, out of annual and not flown in 6 years sitting on the ramp, with old outdated avionics (still has loran) and he got 130k for it.

    Simple answer is because people are willing to pay it. Consumers set the prices on goods. If consumers quit paying high prices then the prices will go down.
