    GX200 External Thrust Bearing

I wanted to post this idea I had and get some feedback before I start testing. My 185's are not worth rebuilding (probably for the best) and I have decided to go with two GX200's on my Lazair. I have read many posts and saw the You-Tube videos with and with-out the re-drives. I know...

Here are the lab test results. Could someone translate these into 1. Breaking strength (lbs/in) and 2. Burst Failure (psi) like all other fabric manufactures do please? I think I got it, but want to confirm.

What did you do on your airplane project today?

After months of searching, finally found a guy that can convert Rotax 185's to cdi ignition. Dropped the engines off yesterday and started to strip the old clear "plastic" off the wings of my Lazair. Things are getting exciting. Also ordered 1.2 oz/yd Sig fabric to complete covering and...

    Low Cost Fabric Covering

Yup, ordered another x3 five sq. yard bags yesterday, which should be enough to cover all required surfaces on my Lazair. I plan to start on the small tail pieces to get a feel for things, then move to the wings. Fabric cement from ACS on it's way also. I was able to get some test lab results...

    Low Cost Fabric Covering

Did anyone stick their neck out and answer? Only looking for 40 mph on the tail of a Lazair. Picked up 5 sq.yards in Canada for about $30, no questions asked regarding usage. Thoughts on using for the wings?
