    I run a Rotax 503, its 52hp on my SX, I have seen full VWs on these planes but I think its to heavy for my satifaction, I had a full VW on my V Max and it was like lead...

    I have an SX and I am 6 ft and 220, I am comfortable in it and you can use thinner seat cushion if needed if height is an issue, I actually have a very thick seat and I am still not even close to being to tall. I do run a 503 Rotax in mine and its a great setup.

    I use an Odyssey in my Hipps, I am running a Rotax 503 with a Profin 3 blade prop. I have Dual carb and ignition,I have not had any issues.

    I just purchased a Hipps Reliant SX, Rotax 503. Congrats on your new plane. Do you know where to obtain a POH for the Hipps Superbirds models? I understand they are no longer in business so going to manufacture is not an option.
