    Another option is to use a hand pump oil can. I bought one to dedicate to brake fluid, small tubing fits on the spout end. Don't need to waste large amount of fluid that is needed in the modified garden sprayers that ACS sells.

    Here's a photo of a Tension meter that is easy build, don't need to pay the $350 to $1200 purchase prices. The gauge is standard dial indicator . Select spring for the range that is desired. Calibrate with hanging weight using same diameter size and braid of aircraft cable in aircraft.

    What is your interest and/or experience with homebuilt airplanes?

    I am a retired Mechanical Engineer and completed a Murphy Yukon in 2022 with a IO390 Lycoming Thunderbolt engine a Dynon Skyview Classic panel. It was a great retirement project and I now have 98 hours on it. It's lighter weight and large wing gives it plenty lift in the high Colorado mountains.
