Regarding the Mooney, it just looks like the seller is helping someone sell it and doesn't know a lot about aviation. A replacement airworthiness certificate can be requested online and the FAA inspector that processes it sends you an email and you print it yourself at home. Did it a few months...

    Alternative wheels/brakes

I really have to clean my hangar. I have a lot of good Cleveland wheels with calipers and tires from Cessna's I've owned over the years and will never use. They might show up soon on the Craigslist section of this forum really cheap !

Now I'm evil? LMAO. Now you're being ridiculous. If I wanted to waste my time I could go back and see how many comments you've made about people selling stuff. It's my opinion, you might not like it, but it's still my opinion. If someone wants to take it into consideration then great. The world...

I always give thought to what I write, and now that I know I have so much power in my words even more LOL. I also stand by those because you decided to comment on my posts, like if it somehow affected you.

HA, you're funny. Not even during my 38+ years in the miltary did my words have so much power and serious effects... oh and trying to insult me definitely won't work either. So my opinion is "objectively false" while your opinion is plain facts? LMAO !!

Well I'll end this with since I was the one buying it with my money, I decided the 150hp fixed pitch was a dog and the 180hp C/S prop wasn't so I bought it. I don't need to explain more than that because it was my choice and it's my opinion. Will never understand why a few of you get bent out of...

Exactly, so if that nascar racer has its engine and transmission replaced with a smaller less efficient one and it takes forever for it to get up to its operating speed, then it's a dog.

Then we have a different understanding of what the word dog means when it comes to performance. If it flies like a dog it doesn't matter if another one with a bigger engine flies better, it's still a dog.

That's the problem when someone can't defend an initial argument, they add things that don't have anything to do with the subject. Who cares what a 172 does? I never mentioned a 172. My statement stands on it's own. Someone can always say "well an RV8 with a 100 hp ROTAX is still better than a...

I flew one with 150hp fixed pitch then I flew a 180hp with constant speed prop, both in Texas during the summer, and the difference was so incredibly big that I bought the RV8 with 180hp and constant speed prop

150hp fixed pitch RV8 is going to be a northern states plane. When it gets to 107 degrees in the south it'll be a hog or a one person plane.

    Plexus vs Pledge?

You're kind of contradicting yourself. First rain repellant is so important that you say the EPA banned it so they don't care if you see or not. Then you say the rain repellant was hardly ever used in 35 years flying. ????

    Battery Recommendation?

You forgot to post the name, brand, model, or at least a picture of your battery so we can actually see what you're talking about. A picture is worth a thousand words...

Then you're extremely lucky or you didn't find it. When I lived in Cannon Creek, and that's not even the coast, we had to be on top of our planes or they'd get corrosion. When I flew for a living out of Orlando we had them washed and checked regularly to avoid corrosion.

Have you zoomed into the pictures? First, it's Florida so you know it's going to have corrosion. Second, it doesn't have a canopy so you know it's been rained on many many times. Zoom into the pictures of the avionics and you'll see all the screws are corroded. It's not as good as it looks...
