    Vampyr Flying Wing

Are plans still available for Jean-Claude Debreye's Pelican? Anybody have any idea how many were built and flew? I'm curious :)

    Nylite wheels

lol.. bought in the dead of night under candle light... no instruction sheets and haven't been able to find the manufacturer. Best guess from someone more wise than me is they from the 1980's kinda. On the plus side, they were only a few coffee's in terms of cost and they are nice and light -...

Thanks Not sure if centre line or offset... will blow up the tubes I have to see.... I guess the take-home is that these have never been used before :)

    Nylite wheels

Picked these up a little while ago but needing to now actually use them - and I guess needing some advice please. No holes in the rims anywhere for the tube valve to pop out of. Was going to blow up a tube, test drill a bit of scrap to figure out hole size, make it a thumb-suck bit bigger and...

    Sandlin Gliders: Builds, mods, flights

This looks awesome... love it... Wondering about the next build and the G is on the short list.... although what I know about carbon fibre can be chiselled onto the back of a postage stamp! How do you feel about your doodle being stolen? (if I ever get round to building a G) I've been playing...

    Kitplanes Magazine - August 1995

Wow... that is great to know :) Thanks. Almost 30 years since that was published... and it was a 15+ year plane by then..... If you do find it, that would be great... I can't find any pics on the internet and would have hope there was... although it was 1995! I'm about to build the pod and not...

    Kitplanes Magazine - August 1995

Anybody got a copy of the above magazine lying around gathering dust? And happy to take a few pictures? I believe there was an article by Terrence O'Neill called "improving a winner" about modifications he made to a B10. I sadly gave all my kitplane mags away when moved years ago and didn't...

    Perspex window attachment

yup... the famous plybond... somewhere else it talks about double sided tape and assumed that plybond was double sided tape... but who knows?? Fabric would certainly be quicker and cheaper and easier... but lack of visibility I think could freak me out a bit... I'm used to lovely glider...

Airfoil selection for a flying plank, how to achieve statical equilibrium?

In case you weren't aware... Micke Whittaker is planning a second version of his plank. Intersting to read that he only got Jim Marskes book a bit late in the day so I guess it might be borrowing some of Jim's data?!? Mike has offered to release his plans for free once he has finished drawing...

Thanks... will look into that. More tools :) Any ideas on how far apart the screws might need to be... I'm thinking 6" to 10" spacing but not sure

    Perspex window attachment

Just looking for some guidance from those more knowledgable than me please :) Mitchell wing B10 as per the 1982 plans call for the perspex to be double sided taped and that's it. Happy to do that BUT... keen to put a few screws in as well. Haven't got to it yet but was thinking of something...

Rivetted Al fuel tank - help please?

Having recently read it, I'd vote you get a copy. Sufficient details on various things which would be the same for both configurations - such as fittings, plumbing, etc.
