    Difference between "wash primer" and "primer"

    Somehow assumed that a wash primer would be a water soluble primer so that parts can get "washed" in it. Turns out it's not, some 2K primer are also called "wash primer". What makes a wash primer a wash primer? Or is the word just meaningless?
