    Borescope/endoscope suggestions?

I have access to a very nice Olympus Bscope and have used them for years. On the home front I have been through several Bscopes including the Harbor Freight and some from Amazon. All of them have provided some good insight from time to time. Currently I have two that I find to be adequate for...

Fly with expired transponder to get it certified

Interesting conversation. Transponders and ADSB out are not required to fly in most airspace and under most VFR operations. So, if the shop where you are going to get your transponder fixed does not reside within airspace requiring a transponder, it is perfectly legal to fly there with yours...

    Inverted oil system

I know this is an old thread but it seem the accumulator concept is a good one from what I know. I an installing one on my Laser in addition to the full up Christen / Raven oil system. There are times when the oil pressure drops during acro flight which can cause the propellor to loose governing...

    Buying a used homebuilt

Check with the EAA technical council. They will have the right scoop for you. As an A&P this is not a problem for me. Having said that I have asked many such questions regarding what and who can do work on experimental airplanes. The answer is quite simple, anyone can. The problem lies within...
