I’ve acquired a new Force one hub assembly, it didn’t come with any drawings on what mods to the case and crank needed to fit. I know the case needs some relieving, but what interference etc. I know the crank is tapered also and different centre bolt also But can a standard crank be used? Fit a...

O.k. New Autolinea cases are out of customs now. they weigh in at just a smidge over 19kg. So not much or any lighter then last batch. cast mark says May 22, so super fresh… Hoover oil mods, and no. 3 filled. Shuffle pins. will take a 86mm crank with no other machining required. so you could...

Agreed on price…Oz dollar is about .60c US, so we get a shock here also. No change from $2000 here for a case normally, but currently zero availability till my stock arrives. Freight is a killer also.

I’ve sent an email to Autolinea seeking clarification on the above questions. There is a new brochure being produced as well, that will answer a few questions. A fresh batch of heads also arriving, so I’ll be testing those also. phil.

Is it time to give up on VW engines?

Have we looked again at the Autolinea VW super case! A 100% replica, but stronger. And a little heavier too…. But you can build whatever you want with it. your choice of crank and extra prop support from sonex or great plains etc. it won’t flex or shuffle, add a turbo for your 100 + hp

    Replacement Fluid

Hi all. I’ve just stumbled upon this chat. So not sure if I’ve missed something already….( according to the missus that would be more then possible) but… iI’ll add this . While the 500ML jar is good for small leaks, I've found it is preferable to buy the economy 1 Gallon jar for keeping up...

    Aerovee into SII engine mount

Thanks in advance. I have a SII and an aerovee 2180 to into it. I’ve read on here somewhere about a engine mount to do this job. Or at least a drawing of one with the aero injector manifold around the back down past the starter, I figure about 3” clearance is required to make it fit. Between...

    S ll rebuilding 1770 Oz

Hi all. We currently have a previously GA registered Sll, that has been fully stripped, a few parts borrowed, or sold off. So need s full rebuild from the fuselage up….paper work is sketch, but appears to be early 80’s build. Good work had been started on wing upgrade, so that will continue...
