    503 No fire on front cylinder for 10-15 seconds

    I have an ultralight with a 503 dual ignition single carb. When the engine is cold it fires up but runs only on the back cylinder for 5-15 seconds then both work. Vacuume leak at the front seal? After it warms up and I accelerate to 4000 rpm one cylinder(I'll find out tomorrow) EGT shoots up...

    Rans S-9 503, now building a 582-670 Rotax

    Just bought a Rans S-9 Chaos with a 503 engine. I have ZERO time flying a 3 axis aircraft but 120 hrs in a flexwing and paramotors. I plan to get 5-10 hrs instruction with a RV 4 owner and then 40+ hrs in the Rans with the 503. Over the winter while I fly I plan on rebuilding a 1994 Ski-doo 670...
