Bing 54 jet size adjustments for altitude

[email protected] I have no experience with a smart carb. But it sure does make a whole hell of a lot of sense. Automatically adjust for altitude and temperature. . No more messing with jets.

    582 Aftermarket Tuned Exhaust

I have been looking for tuned pipes for awhile with no success. You would think a company would design and make tuned pipes for our engines. Even trying to find someone with the ability to make one is a joke.

ROTAX 277UL TYPE 275 Free Air or Fan Cooled BUILD

Hi Armilite, You seem very knowledgeable with the rotax engines. Can you tell me if a 503 and 277 connecting rod is the same? I appreciate all of your advice. Thank you.

ROTAX 277UL TYPE 275 Free Air or Fan Cooled BUILD

I agree. The stock exhaust which is the same on all the 277,377,477,503. Does nothing for performance. The rotax engineers obviously left exhaust performance out of the equation. I would assume for engine longevity.

ROTAX 277UL TYPE 275 Free Air or Fan Cooled BUILD

It would be nice if some company would market a safe (for the piston) tuned pipe for a 277. I could have the power of 377. Actually more if you calculate the weight difference. Sure engine longevity might suffer but its not a huge undertaking to rebuild a 277.
